I’ve been an entrepreneur since childhood.
At seven a friend and I drew pictures and sold our fine art in her neighborhood.
At age nine another friend and I launched S&S Babysitting, landing a local client.
In elementary school, a group of girlfriends and I made jewelry to sell at a local craft fair.
At twenty I built Perfect Imperfections, selling bespoke artisan candles online and in a local boutique or two.
Throughout all those years honing my entrepreneurial spirit, I was my realtor mother’s child-labor sticking labels on postcards, gluing actual photos to flyers, and sealing envelopes for mailers. After spending my high school years in real estate administration, I earned my BA in psychology and my real estate license, and went to work in the family business.
With my formative years around real estate professionals, I knew what I was getting into. As rewarding of a profession as it can be, when left unchecked it can consume your life through demanding schedules, no promised pay days, and stress induced sleepless nights. My youthful days of entrepreneurship coupled with the examples set by the realtors in my life drove me to design a business rooted in relationships, not transactions. Doing so created a business that was self-perpetuating, enriching both my business and personal life through deeper relationships and business transactions rooted in inherent trust, which allowed me to guide my clients farther, faster.
Over the past 20+ years I’ve pulled double duty as a full time REALTOR® and casual mentor and coach to new and established agents and entrepreneurs. Utilizing my psychology degree and coaching certification to shift into coaching and consulting has been a natural progression as my heart lives in helping others find their authentic voice and unique professional value. These tenets of a fulfilling business radiate into all areas of your life resulting in higher quality relationships professionally and personally, larger and more consistent paydays, and a grounded knowledge of who you actually are in your life and business, not who you think you need to be. Operating from a place of authenticity with an eye toward leadership-based growth will earn you the highest return on your investment in yourself and your team, regardless of industry.
